OCG does not hand your house to whoever is available. Every firm we introduce has been through a written qualification process — licensing, insurance, references, and how they actually treat an owner’s home. Qualification is ongoing, and the list below grows as firms complete it.
How a firm becomes a Qualified Partner
OCG runs a documented Quality Management System. It governs how we deliver, and it governs who we bring to your project. Supplier qualification is the part of that system that applies to partners — the same discipline, written down and repeatable, for every firm and every discipline.
We look for firms whose work we have seen, whose references we can reach, and whose capacity fits the kind of homes we design.
Licensing verified with the State of Florida where a license is required. Current certificates of insurance on file. References contacted. Scope, capacity and working method documented.
A firm that clears qualification is approved for named disciplines and added to our register. Approval is for the work we qualified them to do, not a blanket endorsement.
We re-check licensing and insurance on a schedule, and we review performance after each project. A firm that stops meeting the standard comes off the register.
Qualified does not mean exclusive. More than one firm can be qualified in the same discipline, and we expect that — it lets us match the firm to the project, the schedule and the owner, rather than routing every job to the same door. Qualification is earned through work and upkeep of the standard. Placement on this page is never for sale, and no firm pays to appear here.
Clients engage Qualified Partners directly, under each firm’s own agreement. Oaks Capital Group LLC is not a contractor and does not perform construction, repair or trade work. Qualification is OCG’s own internal review for our own purposes; it is not a warranty, a guarantee, a certification, or a substitute for your own due diligence. Some partners also introduce clients to us; when one does, we tell you.

Qualified PartnerWe are working through qualification with interior design firms in Sarasota and Manatee. Firms will be named here once licensing, insurance, references and scope are documented and approved.
In reviewArchitects and residential designers are in review for plans, elevations and permit sets. Named firms are added as they complete the process.
In reviewPool and outdoor living, landscape, impact protection, electrical and lighting, HVAC and indoor air, water treatment, millwork, technology and household services. We qualify by discipline, and we are glad to qualify more than one firm in each.
OpenScope
Every qualified firm is licensed where Florida requires it and carries current insurance, verified by us and re-checked on a schedule. We add disciplines as the work calls for them.
